The city's photography museum is named for Charles Nègre, a pioneer who shot in Nice in the nineteenth century. Set in a converted 1917 building on boulevard Dubouchage, it runs on rotation: three floors of galleries host changing shows, from classic prints to contemporary photography. There is no permanent display, so it is worth checking the current exhibition on the museum's website first.
