A landscape garden in central St Petersburg around the Mikhailovsky Palace, home of the Russian Museum, between the Moika river and the Engineers' Castle. Its current look took shape in the early 19th century when Carlo Rossi rebuilt the whole ensemble. Shaded alleys, ponds with swans and open lawns make it a favourite for summer picnics and snowy winter walks.
