Mercado de Salamanca is an atmospheric municipal food market in Málaga's El Molinillo district, designed by Manuel Rivera Valentín between 1922 and 1925. The structure is an outstanding example of Neo-Mudéjar architecture, featuring patterned exposed brickwork, decorative horseshoe arches, and ornate wrought iron gates. Inside, lively stalls serve locals with fresh Mediterranean seafood, seasonal fruit, artisanal cheeses, and cured meats.
