Andalusia's largest museum unites fine arts and archaeology under one roof in the Palacio de la Aduana, the old customs house at the foot of the Alcazaba. The painting collection runs from Luis de Morales and Ribera to Murillo and Sorolla; the archaeology floor guards the bronze tables of Roman law known as the Lex Flavia Malacitana, plus finds from Malaga's Phoenician, Roman and Moorish past. It opened here in 2016.
