Lungomare Nazario Sauro

Puglia is home to some truly incredible coastal areas, but if you're visiting Bari, you shouldn't miss the beauty of Lungomare Nazario Sauro – one of the city's most beautiful promenades. Most people know Lungomare Nazario Sauro for its picturesque views; either of the stunning sea, or of the beautiful architecture on the opposite side. The path starts at the port and ends at Parco per Cani, which is about 1000 m, so you'll have plenty of space to enjoy a relaxing walk by the sea. Bari is a seaside resort, so it makes sense that it should have a fantastic promenade – and it does: Lungomare Nazario Sauro. This promenade stretches for about 1000 m from the port to Parco per Cani and offers a truly picturesque stretch of waterfront on which to enjoy the Mediterranean sun. Amid magnificent architecture and snow-white buildings, the promenade has a pleasant atmosphere, and the sea views are simply splendid.
