Located south of Pattaya, Khao Chi Chan is famous for its colossal cliffside image of a seated Buddha. Rising 109 metres high, the outline was etched into the sheer limestone rockface using laser technology and filled with gold leaf. Created in 1996 to honor King Rama IX's Golden Jubilee, the site sits in tranquil lotus gardens.
