Standing proudly on Plaza del Salvador, this collegiate church is the second largest temple in Seville after the cathedral. Erected in the late 17th century over the foundations of the city's 9th-century Great Mosque, it showcases the pinnacle of Andalusian Baroque architecture. Its vast interior dazzles with colossal gilded altarpieces by Cayetano de Acosta and sacred sculptures by Juan Martínez Montañés and Juan de Mesa.
