The celebrated trompe-l'oeil mural on the Saône quay by the CitéCréation workshop, painted in 1994–1995. Across 800 m² of façade stand 24 famous Lyonnais: the Lumière brothers, chef Paul Bocuse, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Jean Moulin — plus six contemporary residents chosen to 'move in'. The shutters, shopfronts and balconies below are indistinguishable from real ones — a true city symbol.
