Faust Wine Cellar

Other4.7 · 191≈ 30 min

Hungary has a rich winemaking history dating back to Roman times, and possibly even earlier. Today, wine regions are strictly regulated by the government, and the most famous and prestigious is Tokaj, known for its dessert wines known as Aszú. Very little wine is produced in Budapest, but it is the perfect starting point for exploring the country's viticulture. Located beneath Castle Hill, the historic Faust Wine Cellar offers a variety of Hungarian wines, as well as traditional pálinka, tapas, and Hungarian scones. The entrance to this magical medieval wine cellar is inside the Hilton Budapest hotel. Tours start from ₹1,942.
