Set within the splendidly restored Shuvalov Palace on the Fontanka River embankment, the Fabergé Museum houses the world's largest collection of Carl Fabergé masterpieces. Its crowning glory is a suite of nine Imperial Easter eggs crafted for Russia's last two tsars. Visitors also discover masterfully enameled objets d'art, jeweled silverware, fine porcelain, and classic 19th-century Russian paintings throughout the gilded staterooms.
