A small chapel by the Manzanares whose dome Francisco Goya painted in 1798: his fresco of the miracle of St Anthony of Padua wraps around the viewer on all sides. Goya himself rests here by the altar, his remains brought back from France. The chapel works as a museum, entry is free, and inside it is usually quiet and uncrowded.
