If you have time, visit the Ethnographic Museum or stop by the Jakopič Gallery, a small but excellent photography gallery. Have lunch at one of the many restaurants along the embankment – Most is one of my favorites, serving a phenomenal red wine risotto. It is located right next to the so-called Butchers' Bridge, today covered in love locks and whimsical sculptures. Cukrarna Gallery, opened in 2021 in a converted sugar factory, is a contemporary art space that both questions and celebrates cultural heritage.
