The Corniche breakwater promenade, with white sandy beaches and a spacious promenade, stretches along the entire northwestern coastline of the city. The most interesting attraction along the way is Corniche Beach, a public Blue Flag beach known for its crystal-clear turquoise water and white sandy beach surrounded by manicured gardens. The 2 km beach has three sections: a singles beach called Al Sahil, a 'quiet zone' for families, and a third section open to families with children. There is also a coastal promenade with walking paths where you can enjoy views of the Persian Gulf.
