One of the city's most famous landmarks is home to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. Built between 1901 and 1908, the former Hôtel de Ville... Unfortunately, during my visit, major restoration work was underway at the Notre-Dame Catholic Cathedral, so its famous 60-meter bell towers were hidden behind scaffolding. In addition, the interior has been closed since the pandemic. The original building was constructed during the colonial era, between 1863 and 1880, and every brick was imported from France.
