Designed by Dutch Pritzker-winning architect Rem Koolhaas (OMA) to celebrate Porto's 2001 European Capital of Culture, this iconic concert hall stands on Rotunda da Boavista. The striking asymmetric polyhedron of white concrete and corrugated glass is celebrated as a deconstructivist masterpiece. Inside, it boasts the acoustically stellar Grand Auditorium with gold-leaf timber, VIP rooms decorated with azulejos, and a rooftop bar.
