Tirana's largest green area wraps around an artificial lake: about 230 hectares of woodland, a walking ring along the shore, sports grounds and bars. After its 2017 renovation locals started calling it the 'Tirana Lungomare' — the path fills with joggers, rollerbladers and evening strollers. The presidential palace and the university campus sit at the park's edge.
