Jawahar Kala Kendra is a premier multi-arts centre in Jaipur, designed in 1991 by renowned architect Charles Correa. The building's striking layout is based on the ancient Vedic Navagraha nine-planet grid, reflecting the urban plan of Jaipur itself. Built in red sandstone, the complex features contemporary art galleries, an open-air amphitheatre, a crafts village called Shilpgram, and shaded courtyards hosting lively performances.
