Michael's Gate is the only surviving gate of Bratislava's medieval town fortifications, dating back to around 1300. Its striking copper-clad Baroque dome topped with a statue of Saint Michael was added in the mid-18th century. Beneath the archway lies the brass circle of Kilometre Zero, while the 51-metre tower offers panoramic Old Town views.
