The flagship branch of the Museum of Krakow occupies the baroque Krzysztofory Palace on the Main Market Square. Its permanent exhibition, 'Kraków from the beginning to the end of the world', leads visitors through a thousand years of the city — from founding legends to the present. Look for the Lajkonik costume and the rich collection of szopki, the ornate Kraków nativity scenes. Tuesdays are free.
