Singapore's first UNESCO World Heritage Site, this 82-hectare tropical botanical sanctuary was established in 1859. It features an intact tract of primary rainforest older than the city itself, a tranquil Swan Lake, and an open-air Victorian bandstand. Within its grounds lies the National Orchid Garden, housing the world's premier collection of more than 60,000 orchid plants and hybrids.
