Considered one of the oldest surviving residential houses in the Philippines, this heritage landmark was built between 1675 and 1700 by Chinese merchants Don Juan Yap and Maria Florido in Cebu's historic Parian district. A classic example of bahay na bato architecture, its ground floor is built of coral stone while the upper level rests on native molave timber beams. Descendants still care for its antique furniture, santos, and heirlooms.
