A 1939 market building in Hong Kong's Central district and a rare example of Art Deco architecture in the city. After years of restoration it reopened in 2021 as a three-storey hub of food and crafts: local cafes, coffee roasters, designer shops and small exhibitions. The market plugs into the elevated walkway network between skyscrapers, and its cool halls make a welcome refuge from heat or rain.
