Dubai Opera is a dhow-shaped performing arts center that opened downtown in 2016 near the Burj Khalifa. Its 2,000-seat hall transforms: a concert platform, theater stage and ballet floor reconfigure to match the program. The lineup spans opera, ballet, symphonic concerts, stand-up and musicals, from house productions to visiting companies. The rooftop terrace looks over the fountain, and backstage tours run on days without performances.
