The highest point of Athens (277 m): a circular panorama from the Acropolis to the sea and the whole city to the horizon. Legend says the hill is a rock Athena dropped, and a small white chapel of St George crowns the top. The walk up the winding path takes about half an hour, a funicular also runs to the summit, and sunsets here are the city's favourite.
