Switzerland's leading museum of non-European art gathers Asia, Africa, the Americas and Oceania under one roof. The collection grew from patron Eduard von der Heydt's holdings and is shown across the Rieterpark villas, including the Wesendonck villa where Wagner stayed. Gandhara Buddhas, Japanese prints, Chinese ritual bronzes and African masks reward an unhurried visit — ideally in two rounds.
