A masterpiece of Catalan Modernisme on Passeig de Gràcia, remodeled between 1898 and 1900 by Josep Puig i Cadafalch for chocolate maker Antoni Amatller. The facade captivates with its stepped Flemish gable, neo-Gothic stone sculptures by Eusebi Arnau, and bright ceramic tiles. Inside, the museum preserves original turn-of-the-century bourgeois interiors with stained glass and custom furniture.
