One of Serbia's oldest museums, founded in 1878 inside the historic Kalemegdan Fortress in Belgrade. Housing more than 30,000 artifacts across over fifty rooms, it chronicles Balkan military history from antiquity and medieval Serbian kingdoms to both World Wars and 20th-century conflicts. The museum displays armour, weaponry, flags, and uniforms, complemented by open-air ramparts lined with artillery and tanks.
