Italy's oldest aquarium, built in neoclassical style for the 1906 world's fair at the entrance to Sempione Park. Small but charming, it houses around a hundred species from the Mediterranean and tropical reefs, plus sturgeons and amphibians, alongside a historic hydrobiological station with scientific collections. A good breather between the museums and Castello Sforzesco nearby; allow about an hour.
