A green contrast between skyscrapers, opened in 1991 on the slope above Central. Its key sights are the Edward Youde Aviary, where birds fly freely under a shared net, a conservatory with a controlled climate, and a waterfall by a carp pond. On the grounds stands Flagstaff House of 1846, the city's oldest surviving colonial building, now home to the Museum of Tea Ware. Entry to the park is free.
