One of Croatia's oldest museums, founded in 1836 and housed by Zrinjevac park. Its world-famous star is an Egyptian mummy wrapped in linen bearing the longest known Etruscan text — the 'Linen Book of Zagreb'. The collection also holds the Vučedol Dove, a ceramic symbol of prehistoric Croatia, along with Greek and Roman sculpture, inscriptions and one of the country's richest coin cabinets.
