Tibidabo

A 512-metre hill on the edge of Barcelona beside Collserola natural park — the city's highest point, its name echoing the Gospel temptation, "Tibi dabo". At the summit operates an amusement park from 1901 with a Ferris wheel and a historic carousel, next to the neo-Gothic Temple of the Sacred Heart crowned by a Christ statue. A funicular climbs up; viewpoints span the whole city and the sea.
