Getty Center South Building

What we now call the Getty Villa (which is also definitely worth visiting when it reopens this summer) was for many years the Pacific Palisades residence of the vast art collection of the J. Paul Getty Trust. But all of that changed in 1997, when the Getty Center opened in Brentwood. The Getty Center is a distinctive building located in Los Angeles that houses an extensive and impressive collection of art. As an art lover, I was delighted to explore the informative exhibitions presenting works of art, ranging from French furniture to famous pieces by the Impressionists. The periodically changing exhibitions ensured that every visit was unique and offered a new perspective on the world of art.
