Designmuseum Danmark occupies the 18th-century former Frederiks Hospital in central Copenhagen and traces its history to 1890. It tells the story of the design that made Denmark famous: chairs by Wegner and Jacobsen, porcelain, textiles, lighting and 20th-century industrial forms. Renovated halls and a garden reopened in 2022, with a separate display devoted to Kaare Klint's furniture school.
