A private museum in the Tepebaşı quarter, opened in 2005 inside the historic Bristol Hotel building (1893). Three permanent collections: Ottoman painting, Anatolian weights and measures, and Kütahya ceramics. Its icon is Osman Hamdi Bey's 'The Tortoise Trainer', one of the most recognisable Turkish paintings. The museum also hosts strong temporary exhibitions, with a café and a good shop.
