A major 20-hectare zoological and marine park set in Madrid's leafy Casa de Campo, opened in 1972. The complex unites an open-air zoo, a dolphinarium, a walk-through aviary, and a tropical aquarium shaped like a glass pyramid. It houses over 3,000 animals representing more than 500 species from five continents, famously including a family of giant pandas alongside koalas, Asian elephants, and white rhinos.
