The Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology stands on the Vistula bank opposite Wawel Castle. Opened in 1994 and designed by Arata Isozaki, it takes its name from the nickname of collector Feliks Jasinski, who amassed thousands of ukiyo-e prints. Exhibitions present Japanese prints, ceramics, kimono and modern technology; a tea house sits in the garden, with origami and calligraphy workshops. Admission is free on Tuesdays.
