State mosque

The National Mosque of Qatar, also known as the Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque, can accommodate 30,000 people and is the largest in the country. The mosque combines modern and traditional Arab architecture. Visits are permitted only during non-prayer times. Also known as the Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque, the State Grand Mosque is one of the largest in Qatar and offers visitors the opportunity to appreciate its modern Islamic architecture.
