A quarter of red-brick warehouses on oak piles threading canals — the largest warehouse district in the world, built between 1883 and 1927. Neo-Gothic facades, narrow bridges and water reflections earned it UNESCO status in 2015 together with the Kontorhaus quarter. Today it holds museums, cafés and the celebrated Miniatur Wunderland model railway.
