Vallon des Auffes

This charming fishing village is a hidden gem behind the viaduct and home to many delightful seafood restaurants (a meeting spot for many French celebrities!). Locals also love walking around this area — there are several trails leading to the Malmousque district along the coast, with hidden coves and stairways offering beautiful views of the Château d'If. Vallon des Auffes is a small fishing harbor tucked away between limestone cliffs along the Mediterranean Sea. There isn't much to do here, but if you're visiting Marseille, you simply can't skip it. And for someone like me who loves taking photos for Instagram, Vallon des Auffes is a must-visit place.
