Stockholm's City Hall (1923), Ragnar Ostberg's landmark of national romanticism, hosts the Nobel banquet in its Blue and Golden Halls. Interiors can only be seen on a guided tour, with tickets released a week ahead and snapped up fast in season. The 106-metre tower has a viewing platform over Gamla Stan and the water; the tower ticket is separate.
