A bronze clowder of cats on the Paseo Espana promenade by Malaga's harbour: five figures in different poses, one asleep, another climbing a lamppost. The group by sculptor Jose Maria Cordoba quickly became the city's unofficial mascot. The reachable figures have been polished smooth by visitors touching them for luck. It sits between the city park and the port, fitting any walk through the centre without a detour.
