A creative quarter in Alcântara set inside a 19th-century textile factory complex beneath the pillars of the 25 de Abril bridge, reopened in 2008. Its halls now hold street art, the Ler Devagar bookshop with ceiling-high shelves, design shops, cafés and rooftop bars overlooking the bridge. Sundays bring an open-air market, evenings bring cocktails and gigs. Entry is free; tram 15 runs here from the centre.
