The natural history museum, founded in 1889 as part of Berlin University. The dinosaur hall stars the 13-metre Giraffatitan and 'Tristan Otto', one of the world's most complete T. rex skeletons, staying in Berlin until late 2026. Behind a giant glass wall lies the wet collection, hundreds of thousands of specimens in jars of alcohol — a favourite with kids.
